Louisiana Highway 3132

Louisiana Highway 3132 (LA 3132) is a state highway in Shreveport, Louisiana, more commonly known as the Inner Loop Expressway. It spans approximately 10 miles and acts as a bypass of downtown Shreveport. On 2005-11-10, the highway was officially named the "Terry Bradshaw Passway." [http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/2005-11-10-notebook-bell_x.htm] This name is in addition to the LA 3132 designation.

Route description

From the east, the Inner Loop Expressway begins at a junction with LA 526 and heads due west. The Expressway then intersects LA 523, Interstate 49, and U.S. Highway 171 before turning northward. The Inner Loop Expressway then ends at a junction with Interstate 20 and becomes Interstate 220 north of the interstate.

Future

Currently, LA 3132 is being extended eastward to intersect Louisiana Highway 1, which lies approximately 2 miles from the current terminus. Also, Interstate 49 is being planned to follow the 3132 Route west to Interstate 20 and Interstate 220, since it is already freeway standards.fact|date=September 2007
