Commonwealth Junior Fencing Championships

The Junior Commonwealth fencing Championships, for fencers under 20 years of age, are held every three years.[1]

2006

The Championships* Commonwealth Fencing Federation were first held in Chennai, India from 24 January to 29 January 2006.

Fencers[2] competed from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Australia, Singapore, India, New Zealand and Malaysia.

2009

The 2nd:[4] Junior Commonwealth fencing Championships were held in Penang, Malaysia between 15 February and 21 February 2009:[4] and was hosted by the Penang Amateur Fencing Association (PAFA).

2012

The 2012 Commonwealth Junior Fencing Championships will be held in Jersey. This is the first time the island have competed in the games and their team looks a formidable one. With most of their team being only just 16 years old, it seems they will bring a new aspect to the competition.

The 2012 Junior Commonwealth Fencing Championships will be held in Jersey, Channel Islands. Jersey have never entered the competition before and their team seems a formidable one. With most of their competing fencers being just 16 years old, they will bring something new to the games.
