Koori Mail

The "Koori Mail" is Australia's oldest indigenous newspaper and is 100% owned by Aboriginal people through five Aboriginal community organisations.

A fortnightly newspaper, founded in 1991 the "Koori Mail" is available by subscription and in newsagents in every Australian state and territory. It is a source of news and information on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people, communities and events throughout Australia.

Unlike any other national publication in Australia, the "Koori Mail"'s board of directors and editor are all Aboriginal people. The newspaper has correspondents and contributors throughout the country.
