Kentridge High School, located on 43 acres in Kent, Washington, is the second-oldest and second-largest high school in the Kent School District. It serves mainly students in the northeastern region of the district.

Academics

Kentridge offers Advanced Placement courses in Computer Science, Art, Calculus (AB and BC), Statistics, Human Geography, US History, Government and Politics, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics, and Psychology.Languages available for students to take are French, Spanish, Japanese, and American Sign Language (ASL). All of the languages have courses up to the 4th year or 7-8 level, except ASL and Japanese which are only offered up to the third year level.

Annual, Cheese Club, DECA, Drama Club (Thespian Troupe), Faculty Fitness Club, FBLA, French Club, Gay-Straight Alliance, Girls Honor, Hands Up, Japan Club, Link Crew, Key Club, Math (Infinity Club), MultiCultural Club, National Honor Society, Newspaper (Fleet Street News), Rally Board, Snowriders Club, Spanish, Speech & Debate, VICA Auto, VICA commercial Art, VICA Culinary Arts, and VICA Metals/Machines.

Athletics

Kentridge is a part of the North Division in Washington's 4A South Puget Sound League. The school has no clear rival due to the close proximity of the four Kent high schools and Tahoma. The most recent team State Championship was won by the Fastpitch Softball team in 2002. The boys basketball team lost a double overtime game to Ferris High School in the 2007 4A state finals. The Kentridge Men's Tennis team was honored as the academic state champions of 2002.The Kentridge Judo team consistently takes first place in state every year. Judo has never, since the opening of the school in 1968, been honored with any academic awards at all [http://www.wastatejudo.org/2006hsresults.html]
