- James Sellar
James Sellar (born 24 March 1989 in
Adelaide ) is anAustralian rules football er, who was selected at the 2006 AFL Draft by theAdelaide Crows at No. 14 overall, a bargain pick considering he was touted as a potential top-5 pick. At 195cms height and weighing 89 kg, Sellar is a key position forward who can also help out with some ruck duties. He spent most of the 2007 season playing in the reserves for Glenelg in theSANFL .Pre AFL football
Sellar was named best player at the national Under 16 Championships in 2005 [http://afl.com.au/default.asp?pg=news&spg=display&articleid=224328] and played in the Under 18 national championships in 2006.
Sellar played for the
Glenelg Football Club in theSANFL , debuting at League level in 2006. Should he not be selected to play at the AFL level with the Adelaide Crows, he will continue to play for Glenelg in the SANFL as there is no Reserves level competition in the AFL.Sellar has represented Australia in the
International Rules Youth Test between Australia and Ireland. He has also represented Australia inVolleyball , in the Under 19 Internationals in Taiwan.In 2006 Sellar completed his final year at
