Indiana Territory Festival
- Indiana Territory Festival
The Indiana Territory Festival is a style of roleplay focusing on Indiana's early history. The event features reenactments and demonstrations based on the regency era from about 1798 to 1825. The majority of the event is centered around Indiana's First State Constitution of 1816. The event is held annually in Corydon, Indiana on the site of Indiana's First State Capitol the first weekend of July. Programs include a reenactment of the signing of the First State Constitution, first-person interpretations of figures from Indiana's history, living history camps, and hands-on historical education. The event focuses on historical authenticity and accuracy and is intended to educate the spectators about the events that happened there about 200 years ago.
