location2= Wistow is a small town, just outside Mount Barker, on Wellington Road. It is a town formed around the interesction of Wellington Road (Mount Barker to Wellington) and Strathalbyn Road (Wistow to Strathalbyn)

It is home to a deli, a hall and a church. The deli also has two petrol pumps available for vehicle refuelling. It has got a cricket ground on the top of a hill. The Wistow Cricket Club has played on the hill since the early 1900s, and is one of the most successful clubs in the Alexandria & Eastern Hills Cricket Association, having participated in 6 of the last 8 A-Grade Grand Finals, winning 4 of them.
