Albanian American Civic League is the only Albanian lobby in Washington DC representing the concerns and interests of the Albanian people. The Civic League was founded by former Congressman Joseph DioGuardi and a board of Albanian Americans in 1989. For over 15 years now, the Albanian American Civic League has actively and effectively lobbied the US Congress in an effort to influence the American foreign policy in seeking a lasting peace in the Balkans.
