Elevator Sweep is one of the guard sweepsdescribed in "Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Theory and Technique"by Renzo Gracie and Royler Gracie.It is also demonstrated inThe Essence Of Judoby one of Kyuzo Mifune's student, andit is an un-named technique described in "The Canon Of Judo".See also .

Technique description

The main characteristic of the Elevator Sweep isthe lift with tori's foot of uke's knee up to turn over ukewhen tori has uke in his open guard.
