Paradise Hills, San Diego, California

Paradise Hills is a neighborhood in the southeastern area of the city of San Diego. It is an outlying neighborhood of San Diego adjacent to the independent city of National City, and the unincorporated communities of Lincoln Acres and Bonita.

Military housing is located in this neighborhood, giving the area a diverse population, consisting primarily of people of Filipino and Latino descent. The neighborhood, part of the 92139 ZIP code, encompasses the area east of Rachael Avenue (the boundary between San Diego and National City), south of Paradise Valley Road (the boundary with another San Diego neighborhood, North Bay Terraces), north of State Route 54 (the boundary between San Diego and Bonita), and west of Dusk Drive and Potomac Street. Public elementary schools located in Paradise Hills include Robert E. Lee Elementary, Paradise Hills Elementary, and Oliver Hazard Perry Elementary. Public secondary schools serving Paradise Hills residents are Bell Middle School (in neighboring South Bay Terraces) and Samuel F.B. Morse High School (in neighboring North Bay Terraces). The main private school in the area is St. Michael's Catholic School (Kindergarten through 8th grade).
