Northwest Career Center is a public high school located on the northwest side of Columbus, Ohio. It is a part of Columbus City Schools.
Northwest Career Center specialises in today's top careers including: A+ Cisco Computer Technologies, Animal Management, Animal Technician, Auto Body Specialists, Automotive Specialist, Automotive Technician, Banking and Accounting I, Banking and Accounting II, Criminal Justice, Environmental Services, Fire Service I First Responder, Fire Service II Emergency Medical Technician, Grant Occupational Skills, Riverside Community Services, Law Enforcement, Merchandise and Distribution, Professional Foods I, Professional Foods II, and the Valvoline Incentive Program. With a learning and strict business environment the students attending Northwest Career Center is prepared for the demanding workforce of today. Just recently a student of the former 2006-2007 A+ Cisco Class received the CompTIA Merit Award. This award is an award that is only given to students that have passed at least two their industry standard test. The student's name is Paul Fitch, now attending Northeast Career Center (another career center in Columbus City Schools).
