"Komsomolskaya Pravda" ( _ru. Комсомо́льская пра́вда; meaning "Komsomol Truth") is a Russian newspaper. It was the All-Union newspaper of the Soviet Union and an official organ of the Central Committee of the Komsomol between 1925 and 1991. It was established according to the decision of the 13th Congress of the Russian Communist Party (b) and the first issue was published on May 24 1925. After the breakup of the USSR it turned a Russian nationwide daily tabloid newspaper and is currently owned by Media Partner. Media Partner is owned by ECN Group, an energy company led by Grigory Berezkin, who has close links to Gazprom. It once had a circulation figure of around 20,354,000 Fact|date=February 2007, making it second only to the "Trud" newspaper. It is currently the top-selling newspaper in Russia, with daily circulation ranging from 700,000 to 3.1 million [http://www.themoscowtimes.com/stories/2006/11/22/041.html] .
