The peace and prosperity created under leadership of Guptas enabled the pursuit of scientific and artistic endeavors in India. The Golden Age in India came to an end when theHunas invaded the Gupta Empire in the 6th century CE. Also it was started by a ruler namedChandragupta II .The Golden Age of India saw achievements that are in may regards similar to the
Ancient Greeks . Both societies made novel advances in the sciences, mathematics (for example, the invention of zero and the decimal in India), literature (theRamayan andMahabhrata , architechture, and religion.Medieval India
