José Luis Garcés (born 6 May 1981 in Panama City, Panama) is a Panamanian football forward who currently plays for Portugal BWINLIGA club Academica de Coimbra.

Previously, he played in Portugal for Bwin Liga team C.F. Os Belenenses. He made his debut for the Panama national football team in 2000 against Canada.

He was transferred from Nacional to CSKA Sofia for 450 000 Euros.fact|date=November 2007 Unfortunately he's been plagued with injuries during the season and hasn't been getting enough playing time. After CSKA Sofia suffered numerous financial problems, "La Ficha" went back to Portugal to play for Bwin Liga side Academica de Coimbra.

Garces is also known as "El Pistolero" (The Hitman) because he went on trial for shooting a gang member in a gang dispute but was later found not guilty.
