Arbeidernes Ungdomsfylking (Workers' Youth League) is the youth wing of the Norwegian Labour Party. AUF was formed in April 1927, following the merger of Left Communist Youth League and Socialist Youth League of Norway. The organization is based upon democratic socialist ideals.
The current leader of AUF is Martin Henriksen. Some of the former leaders of AUF have went on to become prime minister or take on other cabinet posts or other political offices.
