Summary
CreditCall has traditionally specialised in unattended payments from the Parking, Ticketing and Kiosk industries. E-Commerce payments are addressed with their eKashu brand[1] and they have recently announced a new service called CardEase Mobile[2] that turns a smartphone into a payment terminal enabling secure credit and debit card payment acceptance.[3]
In addition to payment processing, CreditCall was one of the first companies to develop and certify a software EMV Level 2 Kernel based on the Windows COM architecture with a product called EmvX.[4] EMV.LIB, a highly portable ANSI C EMV Level 2 Kernel compliments the overall EMV software product range. In June 2009, a software EMV Level 2 Kernel for Java was released completing the EMV product range.[5]
In 2010, a highly portable Contactless Kernel was developed for embedded systems and added to the EMV product range.
In March 2011 CreditCall introduced a bank-independent, end-to-end encryption solution [6] to combat increasing card data theft, simplifing PA-DSS compliance for terminal manufacturers, and reducing complexity, time, and cost for merchants to maintain or achieve their PCI DSS Compliance.
CreditCall Ltd. was founded in 1996 and later an American subsidiary was incorporated in 2005.
PCI DSS
CreditCall has achieved PCI DSS Level 1 certification with both Visa Europe[7] and Visa USA.[8]
CreditCall is also a Participating Organization of the PCI Security Standards Council.[9]
