Turbonegro released on 7" Vinyl in1989 byStraitjacket Records , bassist Thomas Seltzer's own label. 500 copies were printed on pink vinyl. It came with insert containing photo from rehearsal room. The front sleeve of the original release depicts a scene lifted from a 1982 underground cult movie entitled Basket Case while the back sleeve allows some extra free space for love letters, obscene drawings or further individual messages of whatever kind. The first 50 shrink-wrapped and autographed, custom designed (first edition) copies of "Route Zero" came with thecassette tape single "Computech ".The single was released in the
USA in1990 on 7" Vinyl onSympathy for the Record Industry . First edition was pressed in 1,200 copies. The title song was backed with two songs off theirTurboloid EP. It was released for Turbonegro's 1990 US tour with red, pink or yellow tinged 'Turboloid' sleeves and in various vinyl colours (at least there surfaced copies in black, red & pink vinyl).Re-presses came out in early January,

*On the 1990 version: etching on the matrix reads: Side A: "your mom is a whore", Side B: "your dad is a whore".
*Original drummer TK didn't show up for the recording session, so Thomas took on the drums for "Route Zero".
