Biography
Early life
Danielle Foxxx was the only child of a Brazilian mother and a German-American Father. Her parents moved to the U.S. when she was 14 years old. She started crossdressing when she was 16 and subsequently decided to undergo hormone replacement therapy with her mother's support. She claims she realized she was bisexual only after her affair with Ariana Jollee who, according to her, is the first cisgender woman with whom she had sex.[2]
Influences
Foxxx looks up to many trans women such as Candis Cayne, Erica Andrews, Mimi Marks, Monica Munro, Vicki Richter and Roberta Close.[2]
Career
Holly Gramm
Foxxx used to be known as a drag queen named Holly Gramm. She worked in a place called Diva's as a bartender/dancer. During that time, she was Miss Gay San Francisco when she was a drag queen. She made several appearances on Maury and Ricki Lake. She even hosted some Ricki Lake episodes about drag queens. On one episode of Ricki Lake, she said she was going to give up drag for good.[3]
Porn industry
Foxxx is a well known transsexual film actress in the U.S. pornographic industry. She was nominated for an AVN Award in 2005 for "Transsexual Performer of the Year".[4] She has worked with many acclaimed transsexual movie directors such as Joey Silvera.[5] She has worked on the movies produced by well known studios such as Joey Silvera Video and Mancini Productions[5]
Foxxx says she feels the lack of respect for transsexual people in the porn industry. Therefore she intends to work hard and do quality work with the aim of getting recognized by her peers so that she has a say in shaping their opinion of transsexuals in the industry.[2]
In March 2008, Foxxx underwent sex reassignment surgery and was looking to move into films on the more classical side of porn.[6]
In late 2009 Danielle, returned to the porn industry and moved to her new website, sexchangegirl.com (previously sexchangetranny.com), which revealed she had undergone full gender reassignment.
Other accomplishments
Foxxx won the Queen USA pageant in August 2006. She is a graduate of Motion Picture Special Effects Makeup School.
