Feldthurns (Italian: "Velturno"; Archaic (985 AD): "Velturnes") is a "comune" (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 80 km northeast of the city of Trento and about 25 km northeast of the city of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,629 and an area of 24.8 km².All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.]

The municipality of Feldthurns contains the "frazioni" (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Caerne (Garn), Snodres (Schnauders), San Pietro Mezzomonte (Schrambach), Sottocolle (Unterum), Giovimano (Tschiffnon), Alla Difesa (Wehr), Gola (Gulln) and Pedrazes (Pedraz).

Feldthurns borders the following municipalities: Brixen, Klausen, Villnöß and Vahrn.
