Klausen (Italian: "Chiusa"; Archaic (1027 AD): "Clausa", also "Clusa"; Latin: "Clausa", also "Clusa") is a "comune" (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 70 km northeast of the city of Trento and about 20 km northeast of the city of Bolzano.
