Edathua , Talavady, Muttar, Viyapuram, Peringara, Chathenkeri, Nedumbram,Niranam , Kadapra,Parumala , Mannar, etc.There is a demand for an Upper Kuttanad
taluk (administrative subdivision) withEdathua as headquarters.
