Thalavady

Thalavady is an Upper Kuttanadu village and Panchayat located in in Kuttanadu Taluk, Alappuzha district, Kerala, India. A lush green flaura and fauna sorrunded with lots of small streams and paddy fields with small rowing boats and small bridges all over Thalavady panchayat office is located in Trikkayil. There is 10 wards as revenue department. It also houses several famous temples and churches. The 25 year old Pamba Boat race is held at Neeraettupuram on the day of Thiruvonam. The Pampa River flows through this place.It also houses the famous madakkal kalunku and Enpathanjil chira and Thottadi.
