Kurile Lake ( _ru. Курильское озеро) is a large caldera containing a crater lake located in the southern part of Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia. It has an area of convert|77|km2|sqmi|abbr=off|lk=on, an average depth of convert|176|m|ft|abbr=off|lk=on, and a maximum depth of convert|306|m|ft|abbr=on|lk=off. It is the largest spawning ground for sockeye salmon in Eurasia (if not in the world).
