Reception

The film-review aggregate website Rotten Tomatoes gave the film a 40% approval rating. Awards

"Live Free or Die" won the jury prizes at the 2006 South by Southwest Film Festival and the 2006 Seattle Film Festival, where it was voted Best New American Film.
