Marco Russ (born 4 August 1985 in Hanau) is a German footballer who plays for VfL Wolfsburg.

Russ passed through all youth teams of Eintracht Frankfurt and finally got in 2004 a roster spot in the senior team. In the 2004/2005 season he managed to promote to the Fußball-Bundesliga. The tall central defender had only 3 appearances but left good impressions at the indoor tournaments (Futsal-like tournaments to gap the Bundesliga winter break). This is where he scored many goals, cheering them like his favourite player Ronaldinho. Russ had become a regular player and can play both fullback and defensive midfielder. In January 2008 Marco Russ extended his contract at Frankfurt until 2012.
