Mateusz Klich ([maˈtɛuʂ ˈklix]; born June 13, 1990 in Tarnów) is a Polish footballer who plays as a midfielder for VfL Wolfsburg.

Club career

Cracovia

Klich debuted in the Ekstraklasa in November 2008. During the 2009-10 season, he gradually became a regular in Cracovia's starting eleven.

VfL Wolfsburg

On 14 June 2011 he signed with VfL Wolfsburg on a 3-years deal. Wolfsburg paid 1,5 million euros for Klich, making him the most valuable player in Cracovia's club history.^[1]

International career

Klich made his debut for the national team of Poland on 5 June 2011 in a friendly match against Argentina. Poland won 2-1.^[2]
