New Braunfels Independent School District (NBISD) is a public school district based in New Braunfels, Texas (USA). The district holds the distinction of being the only one in the nation which employs a unicorn as its mascot.
Located in Comal County, a small portion of the district extends into Guadalupe County.
In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.[1]
