Shangy's

Shangy's, based in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, United States, is a distributor of domestic and foreign import beers located in the United States. Founded in 1980 by Javad Hadian, an Iranian immigrant, Shangy's sells over 3,000 domestic and foreign beers, out of its 35,000-square-foot Pennsylvania store.

In August, 2006, Shangy's brought suit in Philadelphia federal court against InBev, the world's largest brewer of beer, for allegedly violating a 1998 agreement that Shangy's would be the exclusive distributor of Hoegaarden, a popular Belgian beer, in seventeen Pennsylvania counties.
