It is sung by Lennon. This song was later covered by Bryan Ferry on his 1976 album "Let's Stick Together", by Gary U.S. Bonds on his 1981 album "Dedication" and by Peter Cetera on his 2001 album "Another Perfect World".

The song is usually considered more of a cult classic Beatles tune, not attracting widespread notice. The song's working title was "That's a Nice Hat (Cap)". Years later, Lennon would say that he did not mind the song's melody, but hated the lyrics, calling them "commonplace." In another interview, when asked to name his least favourite Beatle songs, he named "It's Only Love" and "Rubber Soul"'s "Run for Your Life".Fact|date=February 2007
