September 5 ,1976 inRichmond, Kentucky ) is an Americanbaseball player currently in theSeattle Mariners farm system. Embry throws right and batsright-handed . He attended college atIndian Hills Community College , Ottumwa.Embry was originally drafted by the

New Jersey Jackals of theNortheast League , with a 4.45 ERA in 32 games, with 70 strike-outs and 31 walks. Embry joined theLincoln Saltdogs of the Northern League for the by|2001 season, playing 11 games. Embry played with theGary Railcats for by|2002, and then played with Gary and theJoliet Jackhammers in by|2003. Embry rejoined the Saltdogs for by|2004. Kansas City Royals organization for the by|2005 season and was assigned to the AAAOmaha Royals . He played in 16 games in Omaha before an arm injury. Later released by the Royals, he rejoined the Lincoln Saltdogs for six games.Embry started by|2006 with the
Kansas City T-bones of the Northern League, playing 29 games with a 1.27 ERA, before being picked up by the Seattle Mariners and assigned to the Double ASan Antonio Missions where he worked as areliever . By August, Embry had taken over closer duties for the team. He finished the season with a 2.31 ERA and 5 saves.Embry spent by|2007 playing for the Mariners Triple-A affiliate, the
