Belgrave South is a small outer eastern suburb of Melbourne, Australia. It is positioned at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges and bordered by Belgrave, Belgrave Heights, Lysterfield, Narre Warren East and Selby.
History
The Post Office opened on 20 September 1920 as South Belgrave becoming Belgrave South in 1923. [Citation]

Baluk Willam Nature Conservation Reserve
Belgrave South is home to the convert|67.5|ha|acre|sing=on|lk=on Baluk Willam Nature Conservation Reserve. This has significant flora habitat including more than 70 Orchid species [cite web|url=http://home.vicnet.net.au/~fobw/Baluk_Willam_Orchid_Species.htm|title=Orchid List| author=Baluk Willam Nature Conservation Reserve| accessdate=2008-07-09] . It is Supported by the Friends Of Baluk Willam who have volunteered many hours of their time for over 20 years into this unique reserve.
Michael Imrie, former V8 Supercar driver and team owner, lives in Belgrave South.
The town has an Australian Rules football team competing in the Yarra Valley Mountain District Football League.
