Brain Damage (radio show)

Brain Damage (radio show)

"Brain Damage" was a weekly two-hour semi-call-in radio Show produced and hosted by Eric Corley, creator of the popular magazine "". However, unlike the magazine, Corley used his real name on the show, as opposed to his pseudonym, "Emmanuel Goldstein", which Corley has also used in subsequent radio shows that he has been involved with.

The show discussed a wide variety of diverse topics, ranging from world news to politics and whatever was on the listeners' minds. Though sometimes addressed, hacking and phreaking were not often discussed.

Its run was from 1988 until January 29, 1995. The show broadcasted from the State University of New York at Stony Brook's FM radio station, WUSB 90.1 FM in Long Island, New York. There was also a special reunion episode in 2002 commemorating the station's 25th anniversary on the FM dial. Since 2003, Emmanuel has a new show on WUSB, "Off The Wall", a weekly one-hour semi-call-in show themed with whatever is on Emmanuel and the callers' minds.
