Kim Buchanan

Anthony Kim Buchanan, who uses his middle name Kim, is a convicted Australian pedophile.cite web | url = http://www.mako.org.au/churchlistqld.html | title = mako-list of predators | work = MAKO | accessdate = 2006-08-25] In 2002, he was sentenced to eight years' jail after pleading guilty to over 100 offenses of child molestation. He had sex with boys at Ipswich Grammar School and Anglican Church Grammar School.

At Ipswich Grammar School, he used his position, and the authority that came with it, to procure boys between 13-16 years of age for sexual acts with them. These acts included activities using Deep Heat, rubber bands, tennis balls and canes. (Source-Queensland Times Newspaper, May 2002)

He was discovered when one of the boys admitted that the Subaru WRX and Plasma TV he had were not items he bought with what his parents suspected to be drug money, they were actually gifts from Buchanan to keep him from telling police what he had been up to with the students.

He was sentenced to 8 years jail in 2002, but only served about 3 years before being released in 2005.
