Midwest Magic Jubilee

Midwest Magic Jubilee

Midwest Magic Jubilee is an annual magic convention held in Missouri. Founded in 1956, by Society of American Magicians, (Assembly8) and the International Brotherhood of Magicians, (Ring One). It originally switched locations each year from St. Louis to Kansas City, though currently its permanent home is in St. Louis, which is also the headquarters (Ring One) of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.

Hosting approximately 150 attendees, it comprises a mix of magic lectures, demonstrations, and competitions, bringing in professional magicians from all over North America, and dealers from all over the world. It is said to have been Dai Vernon's favorite convention.

In 2010 one performer is celebrating his 99th birthday, John Calvert. The 50th anniversary event took place in August 2006, and featured performances by magicians such as Whit Haydn and Oscar Munoz.
