The MVPs are a musical group based in
Torrance, California , a suburb of Los Angeles. They are not signed to a major label, but produce and distribute their albums independently.The group is a nine-piece band with three lead singers: Wes Quave,
Deanna Johnston , and Trey Parker (not the co-creator of "South Park "). Also among those in the MVPs are Mike Todd, director of film and television forASCAP , and Justin Reinhardt, who is the film scorer for the cult movie classic "Swingers".The MVPs have performed at various events, private parties, and venues such as
Centennial Olympic Park ,Hollywood Park , and at least two Las Vegas casinos. The group has also opened forJessica Simpson andKelly Clarkson . The last two years, they have performed as part of Independence Day weekend celebrations inLakewood, California .Johnston appeared on the CBS series "" in 2005, hoping to replace the late
Michael Hutchence as that group's lead singer. After Johnston was eliminated, she rejoined the MVPs.External links
