"Lie About Us" is the third single from Avant's album "Director" and features pop/R&B singer Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls. The song was written and produced by Beau Dozier.

Avant's page on Geffen's website states that the single was released on 21st of July 2006, it is available to download from iTunes.The song was originally written for the German band Bro'Sis and was released in Europe in 2004 on their third album "Showtime".

Chart peformance

The song's video did not get much airtime on television, nor did it get much playtime on radio stations, accounting for low album sales and its failure to chart on the Hot 100. However, it did manage to chart in the lower regions of the UK Singles Chart, late in 2006.
