"S.E.X." is the first single by Lyfe Jennings from his second album "The Phoenix". The song is about young teens losing their virginity from pressure. The song features the late upcoming R&B singer LaLa Brown. S.E.X debuted on The "Billboard" Hot 100 chart at number 99 and slipped off just to re-enter the next week again at number 99. After the second entry it jumped 16 spots to number 83, and from 83 to half times the previous jump which was 31 spots to 52. S.E.X made its first top 50 entry on the "Billboard" Hot 100 at number 49. It eventually peak at number 37. The single has managed to enter the top five on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at number 3. S.E.X has strong airplay on BET and some airplay on radio and MTV.
