Rafael Lozano Muñoz (born
January 25 ,1970 in Córdoba,Andalucía ) is a former boxer fromSpain , who twice won a medal in the men's light flyweight (–48 kg) division at theSummer Olympics : bronze inAtlanta, Georgia (1996) and silver inSydney, Australia (2000). He made his Olympic debut in 1992, whenBarcelona hosted the Games, and also won bronze at the1996 European Amateur Boxing Championships inVejle ,Denmark .Professional career
Known as "Balita", Lozano turned pro in 2001. In 2006, he challenged
Brahim Asloum for the WBA IntercontinentalFlyweight Title (lost on TKO). As of August 2008 holds a record of 20-3-0.Amateur career
