Auriscalpiaceae is a family of fungi in the order Russulales. Like much of the Russulales, it has been defined through molecular phylogeny [cite journal | author=Miller, S.L. et al.|year=2006| title=Perspectives in the new Russulales| journal=Mycologia| volume=98| pages=960–970| doi=10.3852/mycologia.98.6.960] , and includes physically dissimilar species, such as the tooth fungus "Auriscalpium" and the gilled, often shelf-like members of "Lentinellus".
