Hindmarsh Square is a public square in Adelaide, South Australia. It is located in the north-eastern sector of the city, and surrounds the intersection between Grenfell and Pulteney Streets, near the eastern end of the Rundle Mall [cite book|title=2003 Adelaide Street Directory, 41st Edition |publisher=UBD (A Division of Universal Press Pty Ltd) |year=2003 |isbn=0-7319-1441-4] . It was named by the Street Naming Committee after Governor John Hindmarsh, first Governor of South Australia.
