Daavi (also spelled as Dawee, Daavi or Daway) is a Gharghasht Pashtun tribe and the brother of the Kakar tribe. Both are the sons of Gharghasht tribe. the Daavi tribesmen mostly live in Baluchistan. They also live in Pukhtoonkhwa, especially in Katlang, Dheri lekpani, Babozai and Sawal Dher, Mardan.

- Khondai (خوندئ)(also spelled as Khujandi خجندي)Adopted son of Sayed. In some areas of Baluchistan they are called Hussaini sayed.They live in Quetta, Sibi and Musakhel Districts. A branch of this tribe live in TOISAR District Musakhel Baluchistan.According to local tradition their original home was KHUJAND in Persia whence they accompanied Amir timur's expedition to India.
