Aug 31 , 1941 in New Glasgow,Nova Scotia ,Canada ) was aNational Hockey League right winger during the 1960s and 70s. MacDonald broke into theNHL with theDetroit Red Wings after being promoted from the AHL'sPittsburgh Hornets . He spent two years with theLos Angeles Kings , but was most productive with thePittsburgh Penguins where he was awarded theBill Masterton Memorial Trophy in 1973. MacDonald retired after 506 games, recording 180 goals, 210 assists, 390 points, and only 92 penalty minutes.External links
