Australian rules football er currently playing for theKangaroos Football Club . He plays with the number 19 guernsey.He was the Kangaroos second round draft pick in the
AFL Draft and was pick number 43 overall.He received a nomination for the NAB Rising Star for his performance against Geelong in Round 17, 2006 when he managed 25 possessions and a goal.
Known as "Spitter", Swallow performed solidly in the Round 19 clash against West Coast, where he was struck by
Daniel Chick and was one of the toughest players on the ground - requiring a head-bandage to be applied.Kicked a magnificent goal against the Adelaide Crows at AAMI Stadium in Round 16. He juggled the ball to ground, managed to get boot-to-ball and it rolled on and on through for a goal.
Swallow's form not only continued but improved on into the 2007 season, consistently gaining high numbers of disposals on a weekly basis. This culminated in the spectacular 1-point win over Melbourne in Round 9 in which he scored the winning goal, gaining him hero status within the club.
Swallow played for the
East Fremantle in theWest Australian Football League (WAFL), before being picked up by the Kangaroos. His passion for football began in high school where he played for the Rehoboth Saints.Swallow married his girlfriend Elise Rogan in December 2007.
