cairn on the top of the mountain onKingigtorssuaq Island (or Kingittorsuaq Island, near coord|72|51|N|55|29|W) north ofUpernavik in Western Greenland. The stone is now located at theNational Museum of Denmark inCopenhagen .The stone has been dated to the
Middle Ages . TheCatholic Encyclopedia states the date asApril 25 1135 .William Thalbitzer dates the stone to1314 usingpentadic numerals . Others have dated the stone between1250 and1333 .Kingigtorssuaq Island should not be confused with the 1184 meters high
