Zaraah Abrahams (born
27 March 1987 ) is an actress who is currently starring in "Waterloo Road".She previously starred as Magda in the
CITV show "Girls in Love " and Joanne Jackson in theITV soap "Coronation Street ". In 2008, she joined the cast of "Waterloo Road" in a recurring role as student Michaela White, a role which she still holds.Dancing On Ice

Dancing On Ice " 2008, as a replacement for the injuredMichael Underwood . Her partner was skaterFred Palascak , who was originally eliminated in week one of the competition with his partnerSarah Greene .For the majority of her time in the competition she has ranked third or fourth on the scoreboard. Zaraah earned this with beautiful skating techniques.
In her first week, week three, Zaraah scored 18.5, coming fourth on the leadboard beating six original celebrities including
Samantha Mumba andLinda Lusardi . The fourth week was a special West End week, so the celebrities were skating to classic West End Musicals. Zaraah skated toDon't Cry For Me Argentina from the musicalEvita and scored 19.0, once again coming fourth. In the fifth week Zaraah skated to Diamonds and Pearls and scored 22.5, beatingGareth Gates and coming third. The sixth week was another special, skating to classic 60's songs. Zaraah skated toThe Locomotion and scored a slightly lower 22.0. Despite coming fourth out of eight celebrities, Zaraah was in the skate-off but survived with all Judges saving her. Her seventh week was her weakest yet when she skated to Girls Aloud hit Jump.Her required element was a struggle for Zaraah, performing a solo jump, in which the Judges criticised her for a weak performance. Zaraah only scored 18.5, placing her 5th out of six on the leadboard. One again she found herself in the Skate-Off with
Linda Lusardi , who had scored 19.0, which was higher than Zaraah.Despite this all the Judges once again chose to save Zaraah. The eight week saw a rise in Zaraah's score when she received 24.5, skating to
That Don't Impress Me Much , using prop(s). Zaraah was given aHula Hoop and two canes, in which the Judges praised her for placing them cleverly into the routine. Despite the positive remarks, Zaraah was in the skate-off once again and was saved by four out of five judges. Zaraah had reached the semi-final withChris Fountain ,Suzanne Shaw andGareth Gates . Despite being favourite to be eliminated, Zaraah came third on the leaderboard, beatingGareth Gates , scoring 27.0, her highest mark. She was in the skate-off with Gareth, being saved by all the Judges. Zaraah had earned her place in the Final withChris Fountain andSuzanne Shaw .Zaraah scored 26.0 in her flying and skating routine, being praised for her elegance. In the flying round she was second on the leadboard, beating
Chris Fountain . In the favourite routine round Zaraah scored 26.5, performing her Diamonds and Pearls routine. Unfortunately, Zaraah came third in this round and with a joint score of 52.5, she came third on the leadboard, behindChris Fountain who scored 54.5 andSuzanne Shaw who scored a full score of 60.0, the first in a Dancing On Ice history. Phillip announced that Zaraah had come third, meaning she had lost out on Bolero. Zaraah thanked everyone and praised the show, saying it was the best thing she'd ever done.Zaraah survived four skate-off's, breaking the record alongside
