The Tikchik River is a river of about 100 km in southern Alaska running into Bristol Bay, part of the Wood River. It is a popular spot for Salmon fishing
The Tikchik River originates in both Nishlik and Upnuk lakes, joining with the Wood River approximately 10 river miles below Upnuk Lake. All of these lie within the very large Wood-Tikchik State Park, the largest state park in Alaska, and one of the largest in the United States.
