Aryad is one of the main panchayaths in Alappuzha district in the Kerala state of southern India. It is broken into two parts: Aryad North and Aryad South. Aryad South is nearer to the municipal area. Gurupuram is the main junction in Aryad. Subrahmanyapuram is the South boundary and Komalapuram is the north boundary of Aryad Panchayath. Komalapuram is in Aryad North.

A ancient, beautiful mosque is situated here called the South Aryad Juma Masjid.
