There have been numerous all-conference players, many players have gone on to play in college, some on the division I level. In 2001, the Riley golf team posted an undefeated season of 18-0 with wins over the eventual state champion, Marian High School, as well as two other wins over teams that finished in the top ten of the state. This year, the wrestling team had their highest finish ever by placing fourth in state, with 215lb state champion George Malone and 2 other state placers.
