Jonathan Scott (born January 10, 1983 in Dallas, Texas) is an American football player who currently plays tackle for the National Football League's Detroit Lions. He was chosen in the fifth round of the 2006 NFL Draft, number 141 overall. During his college football career, Scott played offensive tackle for the Longhorns of the University of Texas. He graduated from UT in May 2005 (where he was on the Honor Roll several times) with a bachelor's degree in radio/television/film. He is a member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity. He was a consensus All-American at Texas.

He is from Dallas, and attended David W. Carter High School, where he was a three sport athlete as well as a good student, as he graduated with honors. While in high school, Scott played in the first ever U.S. Army All-American Bowl on December 30th, 2000 alongside fellow Texas Longhorns Cedric Griffin and Derrick Johnson. He is unmarried and resides in Canton, Michigan. He enjoys producing beats, buying the latest electronics, and watching movies. November 22, in week 10 of the 2007 NFL season, Scott suffered a broken thumb. He returned in week 12 for the Lions' game against the Green Bay Packers only to suffer a hamstring injury at the end of the first quarter, placing him on injured reserve.After the 2008 preseason, he was waived by the Lions during final cuts on August 30, 2008.
