Melania Dolorico

Melania Dolorico

Dolorico, born in 1923, is one of only a few female directors in Filipino cinema history.

Dolorico made her debut in a film entitled Bulakenyo (English title: A Boy from Bulacan), from Liwayway Pictures.

Her second movie is a war film, Bulaklak ng Digmaan (English title: Flowers of War), also from Liwayway Pictures.[1]
